Lesson Program
Welcome to the Pause Awhile Equestrian Centre Lesson Program — where riders of all ages (7+) and experience levels can learn, grow, and have fun in a supportive and encouraging environment. We offer group, semi-private, and private lessons year-round, taught by experienced, caring instructors on our wonderful school horses. From first-time riders to advanced students refining their skills, lessons are tailored to support individual goals at a comfortable pace.
With three spacious indoor rings and two outdoor arenas, riding remains enjoyable year-round, and evening and weekend lesson options make scheduling easy. Our fall Rider Level program helps students progress through nationally recognized levels, while in-house horse shows provide a fun, low-pressure opportunity to celebrate progress and experience competition. At Pause Awhile, riding is about more than learning a skill — it’s about building confidence, responsibility, connection, and lifelong memories.

Group Lessons
Group lessons at Pause Awhile offer a fun and social way to develop your riding skills alongside others with similar goals. Taught by our experienced instructors and supported by our kind, reliable school horses, these sessions encourage teamwork, confidence, and steady progress in a positive environment. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to advance your technique, group lessons offer the perfect balance of learning, motivation, and community.
Group (1 hour) – $325.00 + HST per month
Private and Semi-Private Lessons
Private lessons at Pause Ahwhile provide a personalized, one-on-one learning experience tailored to your individual goals and skill level. With the full attention of our experienced instructors, riders can focus on specific areas of improvement, build confidence, and progress at their own pace. Whether you’re just starting out or refining advanced techniques, private lessons offer the ideal setting for focused instruction and meaningful growth.
Private (30 min) / Semi-Private (45 min) – $365.00 + HST per month
Drop-In Lessons
Drop-in lessons at Pause Awhile offer a flexible way to enjoy riding without a long-term commitment. Perfect for riders with busy schedules or those seeking a refresher session, these lessons offer high-quality instruction in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Whether you’re visiting for the day or looking to get back in the saddle, our experienced instructors and dependable school horses ensure a safe, fun, and rewarding ride every time.
